Over the past year, I have been operating my own technical writing company, producing manuals for a small business and developing policies, processes, and templates for a large software company. In addition to technical writing, I was privileged to attend management meetings of the technical writing team and to be a key player in making management decisions. 

From conception to digital publication, I developed complex training manuals for various positions within an in-home medical fitness company. I created templates, processes, and standard operating procedures, utilizing Trainual, Loom, Google, Monday.com, and other applications. The finished effort increased the ability for employees to be independent, reducing training time from three months to two weeks. In addition, the improved training of the positions reduced the owner’s workload from 40 hours per week to 5 hours or less.
